Your Path to an Australian Skilled Visa – Start with a Skills Assessment!

Are you a skilled worker with 3 to 8 years of experience in your trade living and working outside Australia? Australia is currently in high demand for trade professionals, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.

In the June 2024 and September 2024 SkillSelect invitation rounds, several trade occupations were invited with a minimum score of 65 points—the lowest threshold for these skilled visas!

Some of the occupations that were invited include:

  • Air-conditioning and Mechanical Services Plumber

  • Bricklayer

  • Cabinetmaker

  • Carpenter

  • Electrician (General)

  • Plumber (General)

  • Painting Trades Worker

  • Welder

  • Tiler

  • Glazier

  • Plasterer

  • And many more!

Here’s the best part – if you meet the basic visa requirements, you could be invited to apply for a skilled visa with just 65 points, just like many skilled trade professionals in recent invitation rounds.

But remember, we’re not offering jobs. What we do is help you with the skills assessment process and submitting your Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect and in any Australian state or territory that you’re interested in.

Here’s what you need to qualify for Australia’s skilled visa:

  • 3 to 8 years of relevant work experience

  • Be under 45 years old

  • Pass a skills assessment through authorities like Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) or Vetassess

  • Achieve competent English proficiency through an English test like IELTS or TOEFL

  • Score at least 65 points on the points test

We help you with the skills assessment process for trade occupations. Here’s how it works:

  1. Submit your documents – Qualifications, certificates, and work experience documents.

  2. Undergo a technical interview or practical assessment for certain trades.

  3. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) – If you don’t have formal qualifications, we help assess your experience on the job.

Once your skills assessment is complete and you meet the minimum requirements for the skilled visa, we move on to submitting your Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect. This lets the Australian government know you’re ready to apply for a visa.

If you’re ready to start your skills assessment and want expert guidance, book a call with us today! We’ll take you through every step of the process – from your skills assessment to submitting your EOI in SkillSelect.
