Our client's journey with Nationwide Migration and Education began when he booked a Subclass 500 Student Visa consultation. He was on a Maritime Crew Subclass 988 visa, expiring May 2025. He wanted to stay in Australia, develop his skills to find future PR pathway possibilities, and first apply for a Subclass 500 visa.
The client completed a Diploma in Hotel Management in 2014 and one hospitality training in 2018, but he was not enrolled in any course after that. However, he had been working as a Maritime Crew member and had years of experience working in the Hospitality Industry. After analyzing his employment and qualification history, Registered Migration Agent Suman Dua recommended that he study a Commercial Cookery course. The client was also happy to study this course.
He was issued an offer letter once he met all the course requirements. The COE was then issued on November 9, 2022, upon payment of the course fees.
Although the client was married and his wife was overseas, Registered Migration Agent Suman Dua suggested not to include his partner in the student visa application and to apply for a Subsequent Entrant Student Visa later once the student visa was granted for the client.
The application for the student visa was lodged on December 5, 2022, and the client received his student visa on December 15, 2022. A few months after the grant, the client wanted to invite his partner on his visa as a dependent. To do this, he waited for at least six months, as advised by Registered Migration Agent Suman, before proceeding with the visa application for Subsequent Entrant Subclass 500 for his spouse.
Registered Migration Agent Suman provided a detailed checklist and explained that meeting the GTE requirement was one of the most important requirements. The client also provided all the required documents and lodged the Subsequent Entrant Student Visa application on July 28, 2023.
Finally, the Subsequent Entrant Student Visa was granted on August 21, 2023. The clients are now together and looking for future possibilities in Australia. We wish them all the best for the future.
